STAT-USA  STAT-USA is a comprehensive collection of business, economic, and trade information databases compiled and maintained by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Products and services available via the STAT-USA/Internet facility include the following:

State of the Nation: Access this area for current and historical economic and financial releases and economic data.
GLOBUS & NTDB: Access this area for current and historical trade-related releases, international market research, trade opportunities, country analysis, and our trade library... the National Trade Data Bank (NTDB).

U.S. Census Bureau: one of the largest producers of demographic, social, and economic data.  Access to the Census Bureaus Web page includes:

Subjects A to Z: Broad subject access to Census publications.
Search: Several search options for accessing Census materials.
News from the Census: Check here for latest releases from the Census Bureau.

CenStats  Point-and-click access to several popular Census Bureau databases.

Statistical Abstract of the United States  A collection of statistics on social and economic conditions in the United States. Selected international data are also included. The Abstract is also your guide to other sources of data from the Census Bureau, other Federal agencies, and private organizations. The current edition can be located through ROGER in all of the UCSD Libraries.

RAND California Statistics Generates customized data tables on California business and economics, population and demographics, health, education, government finance, community indicators, politics and public opinion. Data available at the state, county, city, and zip code levels.

Counting California Initiative from the California Digital Library and the Library of California that enables users access raw data compiled by federal, state, and local agencies, and allows collation and integration of data by topic, geography, title, and provider.

SANDAG Data Warehouse Economic, demographic, and land use data for San Diego from 1950 to 2020, as well as subregional estimates and forecasts every five years from 1990 to 2020, for San Diego cities, census tracts, zip codes, and city and county planning areas.

LABORSTA International Labour Organization (ILO) Database on International Labor Statistics, offering annual statisitics from 1979 to the present for a wide range of variables, including employment and unemployment, earnings, wages, strikes and more.

World Development Indicators Macroeconomic, social, and environmental data from the World Bank, available as annual time series from 1960 onwards. Available only on InfoStations in UCSD libraries.
